Data Compliance
Last updated: September 2026 (draft)
This page is a website template/draft prepared for UGS Digital Communication and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for every jurisdiction in which the company operates before being relied upon as a final legal document.
This page covers our Data Usage Policy, Consent & Compliance approach, and general Data Protection information for the B2B data, B2B opt-in leads, and B2C leads provided by UGS Digital Communication. Compliance depends on jurisdiction, use case, source, consent status, and applicable laws — nothing on this page should be read as a guarantee of universal legality.
1. Three Distinct Data Types
A) B2B Business Data — datasets compiled from legitimate business sources for lawful business-to-business purposes, filtered by criteria such as industry, size, and role.
B) B2B Opt-in Leads — leads from individuals or businesses who have actively expressed interest or consented to be contacted through an inbound channel, form, or campaign.
C) B2C Leads — consumer leads whose availability and permitted use vary by market, source, consent status, and applicable consumer-protection and privacy regulations.
2. Data Usage Policy
Use data and leads only for lawful, permitted business purposes consistent with the applicable consent basis for that record.
Do not use purchased data or leads for unsolicited bulk messaging, unlawful scraping-derived enrichment, or any purpose inconsistent with the original consent or business-data sourcing basis.
Do not resell or redistribute data or leads to third parties without our written agreement.
3. Consent & Compliance
Opt-in leads are collected and processed according to applicable consent and privacy requirements at their point of origin.
We do not claim that all data is universally legal or compliant in every jurisdiction — compliance depends on jurisdiction, use case, source, consent status, and applicable laws, and customers are responsible for ensuring their own use of data and leads complies with applicable law in the markets they operate in.
Where you plan to use data or leads across borders, additional cross-border data transfer or localization requirements may apply — consult qualified legal counsel.
4. Data Protection
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to data we handle, including access controls and secure delivery methods.
Customers are expected to apply appropriate safeguards to any data or leads once delivered, consistent with applicable data protection law.
5. Your Responsibility as a Customer
Before launching a campaign or using a dataset, confirm that your intended use is lawful in the relevant jurisdiction, consistent with the consent basis of the records, and aligned with your own organization's compliance obligations.
